James Taylor and a James Taylor Giveaway

I loved the James Taylor concert!
He was amazing!
My parents had planned and bought tickets to celebrate my brother's birthday. I drove up in my new car (more to come late) and headed to the concert. The concert was held at Ravinia.  We had tickets for the lawn, so we packed up a large picnic blanket and a cooler with hummus, veggies, fruit and drinks.  Ravinia has many restaurants,  I got delicious chips and this pretzel-roll hamburger with special sauce (mayo & mustard). Mom had ordered food from Native Foods (for the vegans, but the fake chicken was OK) including vegan cupcakes (ok but the "butercream" was gritty) for Josh's birthday. I bought some sparklers for the cupcakes but they were awful and we tossed them after using all the matches we brought to light one sparkler, it only sparkled for a minute.

Once the concert started, mom and I went to the pavilion where the James Taylor was. There were just a sea of people and we couldn't get close enough to take pictures. Mom and I kept going until we reached the end of the pavilion and we found a pretty good spot for pictures. Then I dragged Josh over to get some other pictures, after all, he is rather tall and could reach over people and he even got a few good pictures.
Family!
I really enjoyed the concert, although I wish it lasted much lover, James Taylor started with some songs earlier on and then took a 20 break. However, after the intermission, the songs changed to some of our favorite songs including, Sweet Baby James, You can Close your Eyes, Shower the People you Love with Love and Carolina In My Mind. The last half of the show people were up dancing, swaying and just having a blast. Everyone around us was upset when the concert ended, it could have gone on for another hour or two.  But it was a blast, I took a ton of pictures and even recored  the last few songs. When i got home, I edited some of the pictures and made a movie! If it won't work here, please click on see my video, below and the link will take you to Viemo. Enjoy!
